I've just moved from XP to Vista Ultimate and I can't get KeyBreeze to work with my old keywords.ini file.  I copy it over, it's there, I can open it and see all my old keywords, but they don't appear in the list when I look at it from within Keybreeze and they don't work when activated.  Any idea what's going on?

Hi Jonathan,

Keybreeze 3.0 stores your keywords.ini file in the Application Data folder, rather than the old Program Files folder.  If you are using Vista, this should be in C:\Users\my name\AppData\Roaming\Keybreeze Data.  To see the AppData folder, you may have to enable the "Show system and hidden files" setting.

You can also click Start > Search, and type keywords.ini.  Once you replace the correct keywords.ini file with your old one, you may want to reinstall Keybreeze.  Reinstalling will keep your old keywords.ini file, but it will update it with new presets and other settings that were added in version 3.0.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Aha that's likely the problem then, I was using the old keywords.ini file and location.  I'll try the new one... thanks!
