I got Vista free from my uni so I though I would check it out. Ran very slow on my computer but i loved the start menu. Its so useful! So i had to downgrade to XP, but I had to find a replacement for the start menu. I started using Google Desktop but that was very slow. I moved on and started using Launchy and was pretty happy with it until I found this. This program has so many cool features I really want to use it!
However the hotkey semicolon I find is very annoying as I do alot of programming and I don't want keybreeze poping up ever 5 second and I don't want to turn it off either.
So I was wondering if there was anyway of getting it to work like Vista. Where you just press the windows logo key to pop-up keybreeze.
This would be 10 times more useful for me, although I can see there being a problem as the XP start menu will pop up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Samuel

Hi Samuel,
The best alternative to the semicolon hotkey is Shift + Space. I would recommend using that, but before you switch, take a look at the hotkey settings by typing options as a keyword. You can set the Semicolon + Enter combination to insert a semicolon and a new line, which really helps programmers. Semicolon + Space will also insert the same combination into a text field.

shift + space can be problematic when typing a word at the beginning of a sentence such as "I" or "A". If you don't release the shift before you press space, then keybreeze comes up and gets in the way. I've found ctrl + space to be the least problematic because the ctrl key doesn't do anything by itself, and rarely do you find a program that utilizes ctrl + space.
