I'm a user of Launchy and considering replacing it with Keybreeze. I like the note features and speed of Keybreeze but there are some things I simply can't give up from Launchy. One of these is the level of control I have over what is indexed. Keybreeze allows me to "Add Keyword to Keybreeze" but this is a much slower solution than the Launchy interface which allows me to specify a location, depth, and filetypes (including "directory") to index.

I've uploaded a screenshot to illustrate the point:

For example, I have a network drive with music and I like to index the entire tree but only by the first level folder names (artists). When I open Launchy I can start typing an artist's name and go straight to my music of that artist. No keywords and no operators are necessary. It's been achieved by my instructing the tool to "index drive Z for all folders and no files at a level of 1".

Any chance of seeing something like this in Keybreeze?

Check out the new update index feature of Keybreeze 3.5 Beta.  It's very customizable.  To upgrade, right-click the Keybreeze icon in your system tray and click Check for update.
