                                                  Hi Everyone,

IE 7 is my default web browser . But I've downloaded Firefox 3 and I use it quite a lot . So I would like to ask if when I use the "add" function , when I'm on a web-site I want to save to KeyBreeze , is there any way I can specify which of my two browsers opens that web-site ?
Thanks .

Yes -- let's say you want a website (www.google.com) to open in Firefox instead of IE:

Type add as a keyword
The keyword can be any name you wish
For the target, click Browse and locate the Firefox executable (usually this is C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe)
After the target, type a space and then the web address.  The final target should look like:

Quote
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe http://www.google.com

But you can replace google.com with any website you want to open.  Hope this helps.

I tried this but it didnt work. I have been trying to get total commander to open to a specifik directory in the same way, but it doesnt work. If I do exactly like this and then run the command nothing happends.

Im using version 3.5 Beta 3 under Windows XP SP2.

The thing is though, that Im running keybreeze.exe as a shell instead of explorer.exe (changed via the registry key). Is keybreeze somewhat dependent upon the explorer.exe process or something that get loaded into memory when explorer.exe is launched during startup? (starting explorer manually does not make things better).

Thanks for a great program though! It makes my minimalistic dreams come true Tongue

I just tried it and it worked for me . I used the "add" function , typed in : C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Firefox.exe http://lifehacker.com/  , and the lifehacker web-site opened in Firefox . And IE 7 is my default browser . But the web-page opened in Firefox , which is what I wanted .
Maybe , as you were saying , your specific installation of KeyBreeze is limiting  KeyBreeze's functions ?

If no one has ever been to  the Lifehacker web-site ,  http://lifehacker.com/  , I would strongly recommend visiting the site . It's where I learned about  KeyBreeze !

That's a courageous usage of Kb, dinge.  Did you ever got it to work with TC the way you wanted it to?
