Today I tried to enter something in KB that begins with 2. The KB input disappears even though I've done this successfully hundreds of times before. Any other number seems to work, so far. (No longer the case. See below)

This has happened to me before where KB will work fine for long stretches and then suddenly will be unable to input certain characters on the first keystroke. And, it stays that way.

I was under the impression that this was happening to others as well. Has this ever been addressed/fixed? If not, please do. It feels like KB is slowly degrading.

UPDATE: Now, the no. 4 is doing the same thing.
I also have BitMeterII on my desktop. When I ;>5 in KB, the BitMeter graph expands to nearly full screen and KB closes, meaning I can't input anything that starts with 5 either. AFAIK, BitMeter has few if any shortcuts to interfere. I've posted in their forum but I don't think it's a BitMeter problem.

YET ANOTHER UPDATE: I didn't want to volunteer this until I was sure but, it looks as though I can reliably enter all numbers with, but only with, the number pad. That leads me to believe that for some reason KB is interpreting the 2 & 4 on the main keyboard as the back & down arrows on the number pad. The 5 is still a mystery. I still don't have a real answer. Since I don't type and I'm left-handed, using the number pad is awkward.
