On occasions, my wonderful Windows system crashes (I know, I'm sure this is unique to me and never happens anywhere else in the world).  One real downside to this is that any new (sticky) notes or modifications to existing notes are lost!

So, my question is - can you SAVE the current state of the notes in case there is a unclean stop?  Is there a way to backup the current notes?  I love the notes and use them constantly, but am afraid to rely on them given the bluescreen history/problem.

THanks,

Pete

The text of the notes should save to the hard drive when you double-click them to "lock" them.  If you keep them in edit mode, and your computer crashes, the text may not be saved.

Sometimes the notes can move off the screen if you use a dual monitor setup or change your display.  You can reset the position of all notes by typing menu as a keyword > Notes > Reset note positions.

Interesting... that should solve the save issue.  How does one tell what their current state (edit/lock) is?

The other question is, is there a way to export or back them up?

Thanks,

If you can select or highlight the text with your mouse, it is in edit mode.  When it's locked, clicking the text and dragging will result in the entire note moving on your screen.

The notes should be saved in the %appdata%\keybreeze data\scripts folder.  I would recommend backing up the entire keybreeze data folder.  That way all of your Keybreeze settings will be saved.
