However I'm looking for the possibility to use %PROGRAMFILES%. So with my USB stick installation I can simply specify this location to play Windows Media Player:
%PROGRAMFILES%\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe
Rather than a specific drive (my computer uses D: another uses C: etc). This way it should work wherever I go (provided the application is installed in the default installation directory).

This might also be usefull for the generation of the command list, because a few of the command point to C: even though my system drive is D: (some of them still work though because I have Windows XP Home running on C: and Windows XP Professional on D:) Especially for the USB stick edition this would be very useful.

I hope you can introduce this in the next release. Imagine the possibilities! The USB stick edition could upon insertion (autostart) and index the start menu to index whatever programs can be launched on that computer (no matter what the system drive or user account is).

A few examples of variables:
%WINDIR%, %PROGRAMFILES%, %HOMEDRIVE%, %HOMEPATH%, %mydocuments%, %desktop%, %startmenu%

For a complete list see: http://www.particlesoftware.com/en/variables.html

Thanks for the suggestion, mystuff.  I'll add this feature to the wishlist for a later version.  Currently you can replace the drive letter with a ?.  This will tell Keybreeze to replace the ? with the drive letter that Keybreeze is installed on.

An example may look like ?:\Program Files\folder\file.exe.

Yes but that wouldn't work for USB stick then, as it is not installed on the system drive but on the usb stick. Wink

Thanks for recognizing my suggestions  Grin
