Keywords, text functions, notes, macros, and other Keybreeze Desktop settings are stored in the %appdata%\keybreeze5 directory. To copy or move your Keybreeze Desktop settings to a new machine, please follow these steps:
Version 5 to version 5:
1. Close Keybreeze Desktop on both machines if it's currently running. You can close it by right-clicking the Keybreeze icon in the system tray and clicking Exit.
2. On the old machine, click Start > Run > type %appdata% and press Enter.
3. Copy the Keybreeze5 folder to a backup location, such as a network folder, email, or USB stick.
4. On the new machine, click Start > Run > type %appdata% and press Enter. Rename the Keybreeze5 folder to Keybreeze5_old if it's already installed. Then paste the Keybreeze5 folder from the backup location to the new one.
5. Relaunch Keybreeze 5 on the new machine, or install it. It will see the Keybreeze5 folder that was copied from your old computer, and it will use those settings.
