Where are my settings stored? How do I transfer my settings to another machine?
All of your keywords, text functions, notes, and other Keybreeze settings are stored in the %appdata%\keybreeze4 directory. If you want to copy your Keybreeze settings to a new machine, please take the following steps:
1. On the old machine, click Start > Run > type %appdata% and press Enter.
2. Copy the Keybreeze4 folder to a backup location, such as a network folder or USB stick.
3. On the new machine, close Keybreeze if it is running. Click Start > Run > type %appdata% and press Enter. Rename the Keybreeze4 folder to Keybreeze4_old. Then paste the Keybreeze4 folder from the backup location to the new one.
4. Relaunch Keybreeze on the new machine, and it should be using the same settings from your old machine.
How do I add or change entries?
Press the hotkey, type add, and press Enter. This will let you add keywords, text functions, and letter commands. You can also type list to see all your entries. To change an entry, press the hotkey and type a few letters until it's selected. Then right-click it or press Ctrl + M. A menu will appear, and you can choose what you would like to edit.
How do I change my settings?
Press the hotkey, type options, and press Enter. You can also right-click the Keybreeze icon in the system to choose from various options.
