Keybreeze Will NOT start on boot/reboot! Fails to add registry item

Keybreeze is working just fine on my Win Pro destop with Win10 Pre-Anniversary edition.
Right now, I have to manually run Keybreeze every time I start or restart my laptop!
Please let me know how to fix this -- or fix it.

Hello Andrew, Thank you for your response. It turns out that Windows Defender thinks your installer is malware because when I turned off, and only when I turned off, real-time protection, was I able to add the registry key manually. However, the registry key was deleted upon restart and Windows Defender turned on real-time protection again. I used the Group Policy editor to shut down real-time protection, ran your installer, and still the registry entry is not there. What is going on? I even ran Regedit as an administrator! (Yes, I am the admin... it is my own laptop.) Every time I add the key manually, it is removed when I close the registry and reopen it.
The only thing that is different is the version of the your installer!

Thanks for posting the video and including all that information. I see that you tried with versions 5.1.0 and 5.1.1, and they both had the same issue. I just tested on a Windows 10 64-bit machine, and I couldn't reproduce this issue. When I opened the Options window, the Load Keybreeze at Windows Startup option was checked. I could uncheck and check it, and it properly saved the registry setting.
If you press the hotkey and type regedit to open the Registry, can you browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run? You should see an entry here for Keybreeze. If there is not an entry here, something is likely blocking Keybreeze from adding it, such as Windows permissions or possibly a third party security / registry monitoring application. Are you a local administrator on that machine?
Let me know if you see the registry setting as shown in the attached screenshot. If it's not there, you can manually add it, but take a backup of the registry before making any modifications.
